Dear Prayer Partners,                                                                                                             February 2014

Last month we asked you to pray for us to be able to book meetings to replace the meetings we had to cancel in Canada. By the grace of God we have already booked a few meetings for the needed times. We are very thankful for this because we know it was very short notice. Right now we only have two Sundays and a few Wednesdays available and we trust that we will be able to present our ministry on those dates as well.

Our two months of meetings out West went really well. We have made some great friends, and most of the churches that we were in said that they hoped to be able to take us on before we go back to Portugal. Here is what a pastor said, “We really enjoyed having you and Aura at our conference. You all added so much to the conference to make it special and God used you in a special way. We want to be a part of your ministry so we will let you know what we are able to do.” While in Arizona, we were able to fly to be in a church’s mission’s month in Alabama and a missions’ conference in Tennessee. It was a blessing to hear, at the last service of this conference that that church had decided to partner with us to reach Portugal with the Gospel. Because of the visa constraints we can only stay in the US until July 2nd, so we are hoping that the needed support comes in before then. Will you pray this month that we will hear back from some of these churches?

Lord willing there will be a group coming to Portugal to help us with the new church plant. This group will be coming to Portugal probably on the first week of June of 2015. We would love if you could come as well. Along with helping with evangelism and church planting, you would be able to see the sights and leave better equipped to pray for this country and our ministry. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in this opportunity.

We ask for you to pray for our pastors in Portugal and their families. No prayer request in particular. Each one of them has their own struggles. Please pray this month for pastors Rui, Tito and Lenildo. Pray that they would have opportunities to preach the gospel without obstacles. Pray for their health. Pray for saved souls.

Next week will be the teens winter camp in Portugal. We are praying for the salvation of some of these young people. We are also praying that the Lord would call some of them into full time Christian service. Pray for my in-laws, missionaries Allen and Barb Newton as they lead this important work.

In His Service, Mark and Aura Pereira
